Thanks to the simple integration mechanism the Comarch MobileID system can significantly increase the security of solutions which use the internet private networks. The presented mobile token ensures a strong and low cost method of authenticating employees when they try to gain access to the internal security network. The Comarch MobileID server provides an interface, serviced by the Radius protocol, which allows a simple integration of network devices and applications that carry out mobile access operations. Instead of a static password, the user can login using Comarch MobileID which significantly increases the level of security and is end user friendly. Owing to the possibility of working in the role of the Radius server, in the case of product integration with the VPN infrastructure, only small configuration changes are required.

Importantly, the server components, depending on the size of the implementation, can act inside the client network infrastructure or on the Comarch side. In the case of larger implementations it is recommended that the whole solution infrastructure is created. The infrastructure would contain a verification server and a console which manages the client's organization internally. In such a model, the administrators have full control over all aspects of activity as well as system access. For smaller implementations (when a few to a few dozen Comarch MobileID applications are used) a more economic solution would be an appropriate model. In this model, the client would use an externally accessible (outsourced) shared server infrastructure of the solution, which is maintained by Comarch. In such a case managing the users occurs via the available online console, whereas the verification of oneoff codes is possible through the Radius protocol interface which is made available.
